Orphaned or Injured Wildlife

Have you ever encountered an orphaned or injured wildlife animal and found yourself uncertain about the appropriate course of action? Fortunately, there are resources available to assist in these circumstances, enabling you to offer help.

Please be aware of the following:
|
- It is illegal to keep most types of wildlife under both federal and state laws, but you are permitted to transport an injured or orphaned animal to a licensed facility for further care.
- These services are free of charge and run on donations. Please consider donating or sending an item from the wish list.
- It is best to contact a wildlife center before intervening to determine the safest method to help the animal in need.
- It is also advisable to not take risks if the animal is a threat to your wellbeing. We do not want you to be injured trying to help the wildlife animal.
- Please do not give the animal any food or water unless instructed to do so.
